On the Way Home!

We stopped by Ron's Aunt Donna & Uncle Vern's house to say hello. We haven't seen them since our wedding, so it was good to see them and introduce our kids to them! The live just past the Washington border in Oregon just off the freeway. They're basically the only house on the hill, so it wasn't hard to find. As Ron was pulling in, there was a sharp right with a good size rock waterfall, some bushes and pathway lights. I saw the obstructions and thought "They're awefully close, but Ron's a good driver, I'm just worried over......CRASH! SCRAPE!" It sounded worse than what it really was! Oops!

Other than that, we had a great visit! Their house reminded me of the Madonna Inn. It had a rock waterfall/pond inside, wrought iron banister, shag-like carpet that was pink, Giant gold giraffe's, etc! As we were leaving, Aunt Donna gave us a gallon of her homemade apple juice (frozen) made fresh from their apple orchard! It was the best apple juice I've ever had! We hope to stop by the next time we drive back up there (hopefully that wont be anytime soon! I don't want to get back in the car!)
