Jesus Wants MICHAEL for a Sunbeam!

My little boy started Sunbeams this year! The first week was good, but he had a harder time yesterday. All morning he was telling me he didn't want to go to Primary! Hopefully it will get better soon! (This picture was actually taken yesterday because I missed my opportunity to take one last week!)

Emma wanted her picture taken, too!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year filled with lots of family and LOTS of presents! The whole month of December was really busy. We started off by going to thhe Nativity Celebration put on by the South Stake center, then out to the Magical Forrest put on by BARC. The kids had a ball there. I would definately go back next year, plus it was only $5 as opposed to CALM's $10 (or whatever it is!). Later in the month, we went to Ron's dad's house to open presents with them. Then Ron's mom came into town, so we spent some time doing things with her like going to Knott's. Ron's sister came into town next along with her boyfriend, Andy. Next to come was Ron's dad then brother Chris & his girlfriend, Alyssa. The boys & Mary went golfing with Grandpa Smith on Christmas Eve day while I worked & the kids went to my parents & then Ryan and Amanda's. After I got off, we went to Ron's grandparents house for a yummy Mexican dinner, read "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" & the Christmas Story from Luke, and opened our christmas eve jammies. We got home, the kids wrote their letters to Santa, left him cookies, milk & carrots & water for the reindeer, and then they went to bed and we got to work. I got out all the gifts while Ron put Michael's bike together. Ron "Santa" fell asleep after he was done, so I "Mrs. Claus" got to work cleaning up the messes and making the tree look nice! I also got the room all set up for Christmas morning because we were having everyone come over to watch the kids open their presents. The next morning, I got up early to get breakfast started and the guests started to arrive. When everyone had gotten here, I went and woke the kids up. They seemed excited, but for some reason, didn't want to come out and when we forced them to, Emma started to cry! I think it was a mixture of just waking up and then coming out into a room full of people all staring at her! They finally got the hang of it and enjoyed opening their gifts. Emma's big gift was her first dollhouse, Michaels was his new bike & they both got a new kitty which we named Noel! They both LOVE her! After everyone left, we got cleaned up and headed to my parents for more presents and lunch/dinner! When we got finished there we headed to Ron's grandparents for MORE presents! After presents, we started a game of throw the wrapping paper balls at each other! Michael REALLY loved playing and got really into it! That night, we dropped the kids off at my parents to stay the night because our Christmas present from Ron's parents were tickets to Magic Mountain, just the adult couples! It was a lot of fun, but I'm lame and didn't take many pictures! It's been soooooo long since I have ridden big rollercoasters, it was a little nerve racking, but I got used to it! We had a fabulous Christmas and want to thank everyone who made this time special for us! We love you all!
